Welcome to Reactopia. It's a React component library offering reusable components, utilities, hooks, and helpers. Easily integrate them into your React or React Native apps by copying and pasting.
Overview
Reactopia is created by Yash Mahajan. It's a lightweight, user-friendly library for React Native. I thought why only provide components for React, why not for React Native as well. So, I created Reactopia. Also I wanted a place where i can put all my components and utilities which i use in my projects.
Motivation Behind Reactopia
While there are many UI/Component libraries available for web development, such as:
React Native doesn't have as many options. For example, Some of the best existing libraries for React Native are,
- React Native Paper
- Tamagui
- NativeBase (now rebranded as Gluestack UI)
This React Native libraries often come with numerous dependencies and require extensive setup, making them bulky and less user-friendly.
Reactopia aims to solve this by offering a simple, copy-pastable library similar to "shadcn" or "Magic UI", ensuring ease of use and minimal setup.
